Now that everyone has had time to calm down over the casting of Sylvester Stallone as The Riddler in Batman 3, it’s time to move on to some fresh rumors for other superhero films. Namely, an important and plausible casting rumor for Iron Man 2.

Remember Steve Guttenberg? The comic wit? The smirk? The abnormally well-defined pectoral muscles? No? Well he remembers you, and like that stalker ex-lover of yours he wants back in your life.

So many questions. So we’ll have to make up answers.

Steven Spielberg is apparently in the process of acquiring the remake rights for Dreamworks, in the hopes of directing the film with Will Smith as the star.

Jeffrey Wells is reporting from Hollywood Elsewhere that “the deal is sealed for Josh Brolin to star in Jonah Hex”! Wells claims “a friend” has confirmed that Brolin was “locked down last night.”

Feel free to do a spit take at your computer screen right about now.
