Justin Roiland Reads a Real Court Transcript as Rick and Morty, Hilarity Ensues

Justin Roiland had a pretty great Comic-Con.

It’s been a while since we’ve had new Rick and Morty content to watch, but this weekend at Comic-Con show creator and vocal star Justin Roiland gave the world a new gift. During a panel in San Diego, Roiland did a live read of a real court transcript from an arraignment in the state of Georgia. The original transcript can be read here, but it’s far better when you see it played out with Judge Morty and Defendant Rick.

Remember, this is a real court transcript…

The entire thing plays out as a Rick and Morty episode might anyway, with plenty of contentious moments, vulgarity, and sexual innuendo. It’s quite simply a match made in heaven.

This should go far in holding us over until Rick and Morty returns to Adult Swim later this year for season 3.
