There’s that Robert Patrick face on Gabriel Luna again. He’s not impressed.
The exoskeleton prepares a stabbing instrument as Grace places Ramos behind her body.
On the other side of the street, the endoskeleton chucks the last rebar at Grace and Dani’s feet, and we cut to our first proper shot of the new metal monster. I’m not sure anything will ever top Cameron and Stan Winston’s T-800 design. There is something perfectly primeval about that original 1984 chrome puppet. However, I do appreciate this new dark figure and how they’ve stripped away even more pieces from the body, enhancing his skeletal shadow. The Rev 9 endoskeleton is a sleek, fast terror, and the beaming red eyes really pop against his black skull.
Grace and Ramos are cornered as the Terminators move in for the kill.
Enter Sarah Connor swerving her Toyota into the fray just in the nick of time. She unloads her automatic shotgun into the body and head of Luna, but the energizer bunny keeps on ticking.
Prepared for such durability, Sarah swings her backup bazooka into frame. The stern killer we last saw her as in T2 is still very much alive.
