A voiceover reveals that Roy does what he does because of his dad (Tommy Lee Jones). We then learn that his father was a hero who gave his life in the pursuit of knowledge. We also see pictures of Roy’s parental figure.
Cut to our hero climbing down the side of a space station. Here’s hoping that he doesn’t fall, because there’s no way in hell any human being could survive that drop.
Uh oh. An explosion occurs…
