The Doomsday Clock never stops...
Screen Shot At Am

A Rorschach positions himself behind a massive .50 Calibur machine gun. He appears to be parked in that wooded halo of lights. He loads the beast and lets it rip. We do not see who he is firing at, but few could sustain such an onslaught.

A family looks up in the sky. No names on these folks, but the woman in white is Downsizing’s, Hong Chau. Also, notice the altered design of the American Flag hanging from the porch.

Abraham stares up into the sky as Archie, Nite-Owl’s all-purpose get-around vehicle crashes to Earth while engulfed in flames. The Watchmen’s answer to the Batplane gets its name from Archimedes, Merlin’s pet owl as told in Arthurian legend.

Adrien Veidt wraps his mitts around a detonator and plunges downward. This may be an altered reality to our present, but that doesn’t mean we should shy away from cartoon theatrics. Since his twisted logic did result in the unification of the human race, if Veidt felt like that plan was about to be undone, it only seems right that he would trigger a contingency strategy.

Back at the policeman’s funeral, the honor guard fires a three-volley salute. The origin of this ritual stems from a time when the fighting would halt so that opposing sides could bury their dead. At the completion of this solemn task, three shots were made to indicate that the battle could begin again. Crawford’s cops are coming for the Rorschachs guns blazing.
