The Doomsday Clock never stops...
Screen Shot At Am

“They came for everybody. All police.” These Rorschachs are out for bloody revenge. Like the man they venerate, they do not accept prisoners or compromise. It’s eye-for-an-eye justice. Belief is the deadliest weapon around.

The gang in blue lays their fallen to rest. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Newton’s third law of motion knows what’s on the horizon. More bodies.

In the time since the original story, the National Mall erected an observation walkway around the Washington Monument. Could there be another purpose to this tourist trap? Such a structure does conjure notions of a clock face or maybe even a sundial, but more likely it’s merely an easy way to visually signify the slightly skewed reality in which this story takes place.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Cal Abraham asks “Are we safe?” as we see him joyfully embrace his wife Angela Abraham played by Regina King. The scene appears to be a flashback to happier times when Angela wasn’t consumed with the horrors of her job as a police enforcer.

King opens up a dresser that contains her uniform/costume. Similar to how the beat cops have adopted superhero flair, Angela Abraham rocks the crime fighter fashion as well. It’s hard to tell whether this closest exists in her home, a secret lair, or the police station. She snaps her badge onto her waist buckle that also carries some sort of bike chain, whip, or rosary.
