This small, quiet animated short about loss and friendship combines all the apocalyptic roboticism of Wall-E with the complex relationships of Toy Story.
B-Bot comes from Bryan McAdams, whose animation style has plenty of grime in its stop-motion to offset any sepia schmaltz one might assume comes along with putting feelings in a film about a robot and a kid.
