Cut to more shots of the True Knot as a familiar narrator explains who they are and what their mission is.
We are then reintroduced to Dick Hallorann (Carl Lumbry), the old Overlook Hotel chef who originally told Danny about his special gift in The Shining.
Dick informs Danny that the True Knot members have noticed Abra, and now they want to feed on her.
Cut to Rose communicating with Abra. She physically touches the girl despite being in another place. Rose also notes how she’s never encountered a power quite as strong as Abra’s, which makes the girl their number one target, as well as their greatest threat.
All these years later, and this scary lady is still chilling in the bathtub.
Danny and Rose head to the Overlook Hotel for an unknown reason, but the clues all point toward a final showdown with their hunters. But they’ll have to deal with the evil that already dwells there as well.
