But can he get back?

But can he get back?

Imagine the 2000 breakout hit Cast Away featuring Tom Hanks. Now imagine it featuring incredible acting talent Sam Rockwell, and instead of a deserted island, it’s on The Freakin’ Moon.

MTV’s Movie Blog is reporting that Rockwell talked about his upcoming project while pitching Choke at Sundance in a beard worthy of the Movie Style Guy. Moon, as it’s aptly titled, will be directed by Duncan Jones, who has sparse credits and happens to be David Bowie’s son.

Despite the lack of information on the project, it’s still easy to get really excited about something like this. Sam Rockwell throws himself head first into every role he gets, and even though it’s a freshman director, you have to give the benefit of the doubt to any offspring of Ziggy Stardust.

We’ll keep a close eye on this one for further developments, so check back early and often.
