In shocking news today, Heath Ledger – the most current incarnation of The Joker in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film The Dark Knight – was found dead in his New York City apartment. The cause of death is still unknown.
CNN has a short blurb regarding the Oscar-nominated actor.
Update: The New York Times has confirmed that Ledger was found dead in his SOHO apartment earlier this afternoon. His masseuse went to his apartment and found him in his bedroom unconscious.
