‘Disappearance of Alice Creed’ Teaser Will Take You

The first thing I could think of when watching this trailer was the break-out success of Taken. With Alice Creed, it looks like the young woman being nabbed might also be playing the Liam Neeson role.

I can’t say I’m a huge fan of Gemma Arterton. Not yet anyway. She’s clearly gorgeous, but she seems to talk more than act. Or, if I can word this more awkwardly – she seems to Be British more than she acts.

That being said – holy hell does this trailer look great. It’s got a pared-down look, and hopefully hints at the movie being streamlined with a few twists and turns to tide us over:

One last thing to mention is how creepy and forceful Eddie Marsan looks here. You’ll recognize him as Lestrade from Sherlock Holmes and maybe from his role in Me and Orson Welles, but we’ll hopefully be seeing him in more soon enough because the guy has chops.

Have any of our European or Canadian readers seen this yet?

What do you think?
