With the release of the Game of Thrones season four Blu-ray set this past week, HBO has begun unloading some wonderful special features. As someone who has spent a number of hours going through every single one of them, I sent in a list of my favorites to the folks at HBO. Much to my joy, they responded by sending me a bunch of awesome clips that I’ll be sharing with you over the next few days.

The first is a clip from a featurette called “The Fallen Roundtable.” Moderated by co-producer Bryan Cogman, this discussion brings together the actors whose characters didn’t make it through season 4.

(Season 4 spoilers from here.)

The likes of Jack Gleeson (Joffrey Baratheon), Rose Leslie (Ygritte), Mark Stanley (Grenn) and Sibel Kekilli (Shae) spend about 30 minutes talking about a wide range of topics. Everything from their first day on set to when they learned about the deaths of their characters. It’s a very fun feature, despite the rather grim circumstances.

One of the most charming moments of the discussion comes when the panel is asked to recall their favorite moments on set. Pedro Pascal (who played Prince Oberyn Martell) tells the story of filming an orgy scene that is interrupted by Charles Dance (Tywin Lannister) that involves an extra who was very comfortable being naked on set.

Game of Thrones season 4 is currently available on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD. Season 5 premieres April 12 on HBO. Stay tuned for more via our Blog of Thrones.
