Futurama to Return With Original Voice Cast in 2010

Futurama fans can breath a sigh of relief today.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the stand-off between 20th Century Fox and the voice actors on the hit animated show Futurama is over. On Friday, the two sides reached an agreement that will see the entire cast reprising their roles for when the show returns Comedy Central in mid-2010. This includes Katey Sagal, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille, John DiMaggio and Billy West.

“We are thrilled to have our incredible cast back,” Futurama creators Matt Groening and David X. Cohen said in a statement. “The call has already gone out to the animators to put the mouths back on the characters.”

I think we can all agree that this is the good news of the day. Anyone care to disagree?
