A character study of the chillest dudes on TV.

Please forgive me if I get anything wrong. I’ve mentioned before I’m not a Game of Thrones viewer – though as I’m writing this I am downloading the pilot so I can finally see what all the fuss is about – but I know you guys go nuts for it so I don’t want to let my lack of knowledge prevent you from discovering what sounds to me like a very thorough discussion and analysis of the White Walkers, who I understand to be the biggest of the bads in the series.

From an outsider’s point of view – yes, I watched it – I think that Screen Prism, who produced the video, has done a typically-thorough job of stating its case in easy-to-understand but not dumbed-down language. I feel like even I actually got a grasp of the Walkers’ make-up and motivations, and I still don’t know how you pronounce the name of Emilia Clarke’s character. If I’m honest it was watching this video, along with some needling from my co-workers, that convinced me to finally stop denying myself what everyone’s convinced is the GOAT of TV shows*.

If you appreciate the insight Screen Prism provides on the subject, then you need to jump to their YouTube page where they have addition character studies of the Tyrells, the Lannisters, the Targaryens, and some individuals, as well.

And I promise the next time I present you with a Game of Thrones video essay or supercut, I’ll have at least the first season under my belt.

*No matter how awesome GoT is, the GOAT TV show will always be Twin Peaks. Don’t @ me.
