Dropping the gang from Toy Story into a campy horror special makes a lot of sense considering how many terrifying elements were in the original movie. Spike as mad scientist, the three mile island of misfit toys, John Ratzenberger as a pig. It’s a lot of fun to see the boundless imagination that goes into playing with toys as a kid shifted into genre storytelling.
And yet with all that, a pez dispenser totally steals the show in this trailer for Toy Story of TERROR!.
