Prepare for a whole lot of Jack Black coming soon.

Jack Black returns to the big screen in a big way with the upcoming release of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, but he has another project hitting the small screen next month in The Polka King. The Netflix Original comes from Infinitely Polar Bear filmmaker Maya Forbes and is based on the true story of Jan Lewan who brought a Pennsylvania town to its knees with an elaborate Ponzi scheme.

The true story behind Lewan’s lucrative business involved visiting communist Poland, buying products at a low price, returning to the U.S., and then selling them at a significant profit. Of course, this didn’t really go over well with the authorities. This was all done so he could finance his Polish musical group which eventually earned a Grammy nomination. Netflix has released the first trailer for the film which showcases Black and his grand scheme.

The Polka King was one of the many films that Netflix picked up during the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, and now they are finally releasing it a year later. Jenny SlateJason Schwartzman, Jacki Weaver, and J.B. Smoove co-star with Black.

The Polka King premieres on Netflix on January 12th.
