‘The A-Team’ Saves Face And Casts Bradley Cooper

Bradley Cooper casting news! Just not the scoop you were expecting…

For all the recent excitement over what upcoming superhero role Bradley Cooper may or may not be doing, little has been said about a fairly big role he absolutely is doing.  IESB tricked Cooper during his press junket for The Hangover into acknowledging that he’ll be starring in the big screen adaptation of The A-Team.

Per IESB, their writer asked Cooper if he was excited about playing Face in the upcoming movie.  Didn’t ask if he was playing the role… just if he was excited to be a part of it.  A surprised Cooper responded “That’s out already?”  He continued with some brief thoughts on the film before flying down the hallway on a ring-powered cloud of green.

Cooper joins Common, who’ll be playing B.A. Baracus, in the film about four ex-mercenaries who take time while running from the government to help people in need.  The help they provide comes in the form of maximum firepower and destruction that always gets the job done while completely avoiding serious harm or death.  The two remaining members of the team are Hannibal, the leader, and crazy man Murdoch, neither of whom have had a casting announcement yet.  Joe Carnahan (Smoking Aces) is directing.

What do think of the casting so far?
