The ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ director is living a Marvel fan’s fever dream.
Taika Waititi is the spirit animal of every Marvel fan. The director stormed Comic-Con on Saturday, taking no prisoners. From his pineapple romper to his intimate moment with Chris Hemsworth, every second Waititi spent at the Con was magical. Hyping Thor: Ragnarok seemed to take a backseat in favour of enjoying the moment, and for that we thank him.

Waititi’s day started early with an impromptu on-set photo shoot. The star of the shoot? His fresh pineapple-print romper.
Next up was a private jet charter with a few of his closest friends.
That 5 a.m. romper photo shoot seemed to really take it out of our guy. Imagine using Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston as body pillows. Just imagine.
The moment has already been deemed fan art-worthy.
If you thought the nap bit was good, you ain’t seen nothing yet. Hemsworth planted one on Waititi during the Marvel panel in Hall H.
And in that moment, I swear we were infinite.
After the fact, Waititi reflected on the honor of sharing the stage with acting legend Naomi Watts… *cough* Cate *cough* Blanchett.
Post-panel, the good times just kept coming.
Really, Waititi is a fan just like the rest of us.
‘Wannabemes’ is correct. I’d say everyone at Comic-Con matches that description.
