Review: Lost: ‘The Last Recruit’ Video Blog

By  · Published on April 21st, 2010

Another episode of Lost has come and gone – with only a few left now – and once again, The Lost Club has convened to discuss what is happening on the magical island and in bizarro world. This week’s episode – entitled “The Last Recruit” – jumps in right where things left off last week. Hugo (Jorge Garcia) has led his group back to the camp where faux-Locke (Terry O’Quinn) is gathering his own troops for a showdown with Charles Widmore (Alan Dale).

We continue to see in this episode where Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick) is putting the pieces together in bizarro world, and the road map to having all of the right people together seems to be in place. We also get to see the reunion of Sun (Yunjin Kim) and Jin (Daniel Dae Kim) – a debatably anti-climactic reunion… For the most part – as you’ll see discussed below – “The Last Recruit” is an episode that is short on surprises and long on moving the story forward toward a still unpredictable end. So as not to spoil anything, I will stop there. You should really go check it out for yourself, then come back and watch our Lost Club recap below.

As per usual, the Lost Club recap video below is full of spoilers, and is meant to be watched only after you’ve viewed this week’s episode of Lost. You have been warned, now please enjoy the video below.

We will be back in two weeks for “The Candidate.” See the insane preview for that episode below.
