There’s a jump in the trailer as vehicles start to close in on Rambo, but he doesn’t seem surprised by their presence. It is unclear whether the rest of the trailer takes place at his farm (which is supposed to be in Arizona), or somewhere closer to the city seen before (presumably somewhere in Mexico). Either way, he seems to know they are coming for him, so he lays out the welcome mat.
A series of quick cuts seem to show him preparing for his incoming guests, Kevin McAllister style.
“I want revenge.”
It’s unclear precisely what Rambo wants revenge for. Could this be tied to the fresh grave seen earlier in the trailer? Could this cartel have killed someone he loved?
Another classic Rambo weapon makes an appearance in the trailer as he practices and waits for his incoming guests.
He’s no boy scout, but he certainly is prepared.
