Netflix debuts our first look at The Punisher.

For those who didn’t watch The Defenders all the way to the end over the weekend, this will come as a nice surprise on a Monday morning. At the very end of the Marvel/Netflix team-up show’s first season, following the credits, there was a minute-long teaser for their next series: The Punisher. Jon Bernthal returns as Frank Castle, reprising his role from Daredevil season 2, and he has a message for anyone who has crossed him.

The show, which is currently in production and will drop on Netflix later in the fall, is being run by Hannibal‘s Steve Lightfoot. Bernthal returns along with Deborah Ann Woll, who reprises her role as Karen Page. Other new cast include Westworld‘s Ben Barnes, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Amber Rose Devah, and Michael Nathanson.

The teaser is short, but the message is clear: Frank still has a mission to accomplish.
