50 Perfect Shots from The Movies of the 1990s

The ‘90s were a fantastic time for cinema. From indie breakouts to some of the best blockbusters to ever grace the screen, it was an era of memorable, original films that captured our hearts and imaginations. Even the most commercial movies of the time have unique qualities that make them stand out from the pack. They boast plenty of beautiful imagery that has helped them become instantly recognizable to this day.

With a decade worth of films to pick from, making a list of just 50 shots is difficult. I tried to include a mix of big hitters and gems that deserve to be rediscovered. Some of these shots represent the most definitive cinematic moments of the decade. Others might not have the same widespread appeal, but they’re just as special in their own way.
