The Last Jedi star would join the creepiest family in town.

Fans all over the internet brace yourselves. Oscar Isaac is in early talks to voice Gomez in an animated Addams Family movie. Outside of his many Twitter memes and Star Wars stardom, Isaac is a beloved actor that would seem wonderfully suited for this role. Additionally, fans have noted how similar he looks to the late Raul Julia who played Gomez in both Addams Family feature films. There’s even a fan-made trailer with Isaac in the role.

It’s perhaps a shame then that MGM is looking to make an animated film and not a live-action one. Nevertheless, Conrad Vernon (Sausage Party) is set to direct from a screenplay by Pamela Pettler (Corpse Bride). According to The Tracking Board, no other casting news has been revealed as MGM is waiting for Isaac to confirm before moving forward with casting the other family members’ voices.

Outside of this upcoming Addams Family picture, Isaac can be seen in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The film is expected to have a monstrous opening weekend and should only make his profile that much brighter. He also stars in the upcoming Annihilation alongside Natalie Portman. That film is written/directed by his Ex Machina-helmer, Alex Garland.
