Old Ass Horror Films Being Released for the First Time

By  · Published on October 29th, 2009

I love the fact that there are television channels completely devoted to classic movies of all kinds, but I love any news that involves previously unreleased films being able for my grubby little hands even more. Especially if they involve the words “murder” and “zoo” in the same title.

According to Variety, Universal – famous for its monsters and using the earth as its logo – is teaming up with Turner Classic Movies in order to bring some excellent old horror titles to DVDs that will be released this weekend.

The titles in question?

They are also planning on releasing several incredible non-horror titles further into the year and into January. The Barbara Stanwyck/Fred MacMurray romance movie Remember the Night as well as the Cary Grant trio of The Eagle and the Hawk, The Devil and the Deep, and The Last Outpost are all set for release for $19.99.

Don’t be surprised if I cover these bad boys on Old Ass Movies soon after their release. I’m a sucker for gorilla suits.

What say you?
