A garage door rises, and a look of pure desire washes over his face.

Bond rips off the bedsheet to uncover another Aston Martin. We know that the upcoming Valhalla speedster will feature in the film, but this beauty appears to be the DBS Superleggera. Not so much an upgrade from the DB5, but more of a lateral promotion.

“The world’s moved on, Commander Bond.” Meet the newest MI-6 model: Nomi. While he’s been getting fat on the beaches of Jamaica, she’s kicked two years’ worth of ass for the queen. With the casting of Lashana Lynch in the role of a new Double 0, rumors ignited that she could possibly replace Craig in the next film. Based on what we see here, I’m down. Of course, we’ve heard such spin-off tales before. Anyone remember Jinx (Halle Berry)?

Nomi does not care what M wants. She does not need James Bond in her way.

Lynch bringing the shade. Old man, “Stay in your lane.”

“You get in my way; I will put a bullet in your knee…the one that works.” Snort. Lynch going after the assorted injuries Craig has experienced on set over the years. He busted his knee on Spectre and royally damaged his ankle while filming No Time to Die. Yep, feeble James Bond is out here, hobbling his way through another mission. Establishing an antagonistic relationship between the two super-sleuths could be fun, especially when they finally have to come together and blast away leftover Spectre henchmen. If they want Lynch to take a larger role in the franchise, they have to give her an epic moment of combat or two. This trailer holds it back, showing her killing a couple of nasties, but mostly relying on the professional tension between agents.
