Junkfood Cinema: Delroy Was Here

Closing out our month-long celebration of our favorite black character actors (at least until we revisit this theme because damn there are so many others whom we would love to feature), Cargill & I wax nerdy about the great Delroy Lindo.

As imposing as Sam L., but with a much softer touch, Lindo proves to be great in even the stinkiest of guilty pleasure flicks; for Cargill, that’s The Core while Brian prefers The One. He’s also unsurprisingly stellar in legitimately great films that haven’t yet received their proper due: 2001’s The Heist.
