‘Jericho’ Will Find New Life on the Big Screen

Jon Turtletaub promises that we haven’t seen the last of the crew from “Jericho,” and we’ll be seeing them soon at our local Megaplex.

Apparently television cancellation wasn’t Armageddon for the popular series ‘Jericho.’ Jon Turtletaub recently told iF Magazine that the concept would be getting a big screen reboot – good news for the fanatical following of the show.

We’re developing a feature for Jericho. It would not require you to have seen the TV show, but it gets into life after an event like this on a national scale. It would be the bigger, full on American version of what’s going on beyond the town in Jericho.”

For those out of the know, the “event like this” is a massive nuclear terrorist attack that leaves much of the country devastated. For those in the know, you’ll also be glad to hear that the cast – including Skeet Ulrich – is on board for the adaptation.

So basically, Skeet Ulrich is climbing out of two piles of rubble – one representing his canceled TV show and the other representing his film career. Could the guy actually turn two negatives into a positive by reigniting both his show and his career?

What do you think? Excited to see the show get new life?
