It’s barely been a month since James Gandolfini died very suddenly of a heart attack, and though the world continues to mourn, the star had shot two films before he passed away, both of which await release. Today, Fox Searchlight Pictures has provided both a poster and a release date for Gandolfini’s second to last film, Enough Said. The film will hit theaters on September 20, 2013, and the poster is here.

Gandolfini, whose seminal work will always be his role as troubled mob boss Tony Soprano, was famous for his intimidating(often bordering on terrifying) physical presence. On The Sopranos, and even his more lighthearted and comedic works, the actor’s physicality dominated any scene he was in. Enough Said, which was Gandolfini’s last starring role, finds the famed actor playing a romantic lead- a far cry from the violent, brooding mob boss that made him famous. His co-star Julia Louis–Dreyfus plays Eve, a woman who becomes romantically involved with Gandolfini’s Albert, only to discover that Albert is actually the ex-husband of a close friend.
Enough Said is certainly a film to look forward to, both as a final tribute to Gandolfini and as an opportunity to see the actor stretch out of his usual comfort zone. The film is set to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival before its release.
