Hell Yes: ‘Dr. Who’ Script in the Works

Despite the fact that I’m not nerdy in anyway, I’m digging the news of a Dr. Who feature film. And the idea of a late night Settlers of Catan tourney! Who’s bringing the lemonade?!

While I was punching nerds in the throat, downing massive amounts of Jack Daniels and bedding every pretty girl I could find in college, I also had the pleasure of discovering the totally not-nerdy television program “Dr. Who.”

And now, there’s some really cool news that can be summed up completely in the title of this post.

Seriously. There’s nothing else to it, except that a BBC article (which was pointed out by /Film) on a “Dr. Who” spin-off relayed the information that a script for a feature film is being worked up, and David Tennant might play the good doctor in it. Or at least the David Tennant part is wishful thinking because the man owns as The Doctor.

Plot? No idea. Writer? No idea. So there’s plenty of more information to come, but for now I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this property doesn’t get lost in development hell and go play some beach volleyball with my baseball cap on backward to remind me how cool I am.

What do you think?
