DRIVE, Nicolas Winding Refn’s super stylized nei-noir thriller, will be celebrating its five-year anniversary later this year which is pretty nuts. It feels like just yesterday Ryan Gosling was wooing the heart of Carey Mulligan and audiences everywhere while breaking the necks of baddies and squaring off with a truly sinister Albert Brooks. Per IndieWire, Invada and Lakeshore Records will celebrate this anniversary by re-releasing the film’s iconic soundtrack on a special limited edition vinyl this fall.

The soundtrack, courtesy of Cliff Martinez, is one of pure perfection. The electronic-pop score blends wonderfully with the cinematography of Newton Thomas Sigel to add another level of suspense to the film. And the music is so connected with the story that it’s nearly impossible to listen to the soundtrack and not picture the dark, bleak streets of LA depicted within the movie.

This re-release will come with brand-new artwork and new linear notes from both Refn and Martinez. Invada will start accepting online pre-orders on September 1st and stores will pick the record up on September 30th. If you want this special edition you’ll want to act quick, it’ll only be available until December 31st. Once the calendar flips over to 2017 the special edition goes out of print and the original release is re-issued.
