Never fear, horror-heads, the box office has some creepy tricks and treats to gift with you very soon. Variety reports that The Conjuring 2 will arrive in theaters on June 10, 2016, and while that may sound very far away – after all, the film was first slated for a Halloween 2015 date – there are plenty of other horror features hitting the big screen between then and now. No, really. In fact, there are nineteen new horror films (and we’re talking straight horror outings, none of this “horror comedy” hooey) dated before we’ll see the new Conjuring.

That uptick in horror offerings is indicative of the box office at large, which is now rolling out a new horror film on a nearly monthly basis. No longer a strictly autumnal genre, the coming years are bringing plenty of horror films arriving at vastly different times. There are even summer release dates here, people! There’s something for everyone! And not every film is a sequel or a remake (even though, yes, plenty of them are). So what’s coming up on the calendar in the coming years? Turns out, a lot, including plenty of genuinely new features that range from scary pyramids to even scarier Skype messages. Take a look:

2014

November 14 – the “action horror” offerings Wolves

November 21 – the latest entry into the V/H/S franchise, V/H/S: Viral

November 28 – Sundance favorite, The Babadook

December 5 – the archeological horror outing, The Pyramid

2015

January 2 – the sequel to the Daniel Radcliffe-starring film (uh, not starring Daniel Radcliffe), The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death

February 20 – medical students bring dead people back in Lazarus

March 13 – the latest entry into the runaway hit series, Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension

April 10 – the Skype-centric Cybernatural

June 5 – another sequel, this time in the form of Insidious Chapter 3

July 24 – a new take on Poltergeist

August 21 – ahhhh!, it’s Sinister 2

September 25 – an attic horror feature in the form of The Disappointments Room

September 25 – a showdown, thanks to word that this date will also see the release of an untitled Blumhouse offering

October 16 – Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak

October 23 – another mystery: an untitled New Line horror feature

November 13 – a new Friday the 13th

2016

January 8 – something bad happens in the forest of, uh, The Forest

January 8 – another showdown, with yet another untitled Blumhouse offering

January 29 – spooky: another untitled New Line picture

June 10 – The Conjuring 2’s newest date

September 9 – yet another untitled New Line film

October 21 – whoa, another untitled Blumhouse

As if that wasn’t already enough, BoxOfficeMojo notes that there are still a number of planned horror features that don’t yet have release dates, including: a new Amityville, The Green Inferno, Halloween 3D, Satanic and more. Hope you’ve packed some extra pants for your next movie theater outing.
