Coens to Give Us a 2011 Christmas Gift of ‘True Grit’

Other than sitting around making Cheese Puff Castles (figure it out for yourself), I mostly spend my day figuring out how to disprove the Bernoulli Principle and wondering when the hell the Coen Brothers’ remake of True Grit is going to be released.

You may call me impatient for wondering when a film that’s still building its tumbleweeds is hitting theaters, but I have absolutely no comeback for you.

Fortunately, a little birdie at Paramount told me (and the rest of the internet) that True Grit is set for a Christmas Day release. Go ahead and paste your own Poised for Awards Season analysis here:

As we all know, the flick stars Jeff Bridges as Rooster Cogburn and Matt Damon as Mattie Ross, the young girl avenging her father’s death. Or Damon’s playing another tinstar. I get confused.

What do you really think?
