Are you ready for the Austin Film Festival?

Film School Rejects writer Cole Abaius is, and to prove it, he’s speaking in the third person. Clearly, he’s ready. The real question is, are you?

One of best festivals around, and probably the only one truly aimed at the screenwriter, the Austin Film Festival starts with a kick-off party on Wednesday night. Hopefully, my jet lag from Los Angeles will make me that much more sociable at this sought-after event.

The list of events and movies this year is amazing, which is why I need help. If you have any suggestions as to which movies I should check out (and ultimately write about for FSR.com), let me know.

I know, I know. This post wasn’t a review. So, I’ve decided to review my own post in order to give you at least some arbitrary judgment in these words. Here goes:

Abaius’s post was clever, yet uninspired. Clearly, he’s trying to hype up a trip to a major film festival, but he does it without any sense of flare or originality. He should stick to his day-job.
