The latest trailer for ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ is a rowdy, ridiculous affair that appears to up the ante from the original film’s hyper-violence.

Pedro Pascal will undoubtedly go on to play a number of memorable characters in my lifetime. The Chilean-born actor has already moved from Game of Thrones to Netflix’s Narcos with relative success. And his role as Agent Whiskey — a lasso-swinging American super spy — in Kingsman: The Golden Circle looks like a lot of fun. But he’ll always be Oberyn Martell to me, the Red Viper of Dorne and the most memorable, albeit short-lived badass character Game of Thrones has delivered. So it’s hard to disassociate that from what I’m seeing in these Kingsman trailers. Agent Whiskey basically appears to be Oberyn in a cowboy hat. And I’m here for it.

In the larger context, in The Golden Circle, “our heroes face a new challenge. When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents’ strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy…”

Check out the red band trailer below for Kingsman: The Golden Circle, which hits theaters September 22, 2017.

There is also a new green band trailer with less cursing:
