When Claudia tries to make some modifications to the Farnsworth she has been given, she sets off a chain reaction that causes a major crises in the Warehouse’s own backyard. It is up to the team to find out what is causing the strange appearance of points in history, and bring the town back to normal before it all goes boom. But while that is all going on, Leena contacts Mrs. Frederic and with the help of her boss, she tries to uncover what terrible thing MacPherson has done to her mind, before it deteriorates for good.
Major developments: The Pearl of Wisdom may have done more damage than previously suspected to Leena.
What worked: After this episode I can say with 100% certainty that Claudia is my favorite character on the show. Besides being really hot, she is like a female Chuck. Constantly wanting to modify everything around her… Yah know what, Chuck isn’t a good enough comparison for her. She was super geeky and super bad ass during this episode, showing off some karate moves. I am also digging the possibility of a love interest for her. She is the type of character that a love interest would work for, unlike Arty and the rest of the Warehouse posse. As for then rest of the episode, I like that we are finally exploring the immediate surroundings around the Warehouse. Questions like, were do they get food and such, the fact that the Warehouse is based in an actual town is a dynamic I hope is explored more. I also was laughing hysterically at the IRS reveal. When Pete says “I hate us” I was dying of joy. Excellent job from the show’s crew.
What didn’t: I don’t like what’s going on with Leena at all. She just doesn’t have the umf that Claudia has. I am willing to except her as a character meant for exposition, but not much else. There just really isn’t anything for her to do. That may bevthe fault of the writing staff more than anyone else, but yeah, she needs a fixer episode quick.
Final thoughts: More Claudia, for god sakes, more Claudia.
