Editor’s Note: The following recap and video discussion include advanced plot details from the second episode of Lost, season 6. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you watch the episode before reading or watching any further.

It seems as if last night’s episode of Lost came with an excited sigh of relief from long-time fans. As we’ve seen time and time again, the show isn’t shy about going through stretches of episode where it appears as if the story is not moving at all. In episode five, Sundown, the story gets moving in a hurry — characters begin to die, alliances are formed and questions are actually being answered. It’s all very exciting, and the members of our Lost club were there (and by there, I mean here at Reject HQ) to watch it all go down. We were working with a lighter crew this week, as a screening of Alice in Wonderland forced us into a late recording, but we made due with Dr. Cole Abaius, David Gunn and myself.

In the following video, we discuss the character arc of Sayid, the nature of John ‘Smokey’ Locke and the essence of what makes Crazy Claire that much more attractive than not-Crazy Claire. We also talk about Miles’ intuition, and how he’s like Hurley, except with smaller boobs. Really, these conversations happened. Watch the video below if you don’t believe me.
