‘Raging Phoenix’ Rises Onto the Internet to Kick Your Face

By  · Published on August 7th, 2009

For those of you out there that felt conflicted for having the hots for Jija Yanin in Chocolate, she’s giving you a reason to fall in love all over again. And you will fall in love with her or she will crush your mandible with her foot. And then, apparently, rap about it.

I have no idea what the B-boy element to Raging Phoenix is (or the basic plot) since it mostly pulls the old school trick of bragging about how thrilling and chilling and spilling it is, but I also couldn’t care less. Yet again, a Prachaya Pinkaew produced film looks like it’s delivering a scant plot and a whole lot of amazing fight choreography.

And, as you can see from the bragging, it’s all “real.”

I’ve got to give special thanks to my friend Ryan for sending me the link for this, and I have to give special thanks to Rob Hunter for the forthcoming review of the film that will undoubtedly call it the best martial arts movie ever made in the history of time.

It looks like the formula is in tact – paper thin plot that leads from elaborate fight scene to elaborate fight scene. And there’s definitely no reason to complain about that.

What do you think?
