Powder Blue

With a headline like that, we’ve either become a magazine you buy in line at the grocery store or it’s actual casting news. Cross your fingers!

This week the world famous FSR Blu-ray column changes formats again. We told Exec. Editor Neil Miller not to do it, but he just kept saying “I’m the Boss, deal with it.” Hopefully you like it…

Rob Hunter loves movies. He also loves donating his extremely virile and viable sperm to ladies in need. These two joys come together in the form of cash money payments that he receives every week and immediately uses to buy more DVD’s.

Jessica Biel playing a stripper may be the only interesting thing about this flick. Judge for yourself from the trailer, but you might just want to wait for Mr. Skin screencaps.

You have to love some of the things I pick up in my journeys through the world of movie blog RSS feeds. Today’s Daily Diversion comes to us courtesy of the folks at The Playlist. It is behind the scenes look from Access Hollywood at the method acting — if we can call it that — employed by Jessica Biel in her role as a down on her luck single mom stripper in the soon to be straight-to-DVD drama Powder Blue. And even though I have a feeling that this movie will be much like Lindsay Lohan’s foray into on-screen stripping in I Know Who Killed Me – in which the sexy leading lady plays a stripper but doesn’t actually go the distance — I’m still very interested in seeing Jessica Biel shake what the good lord gave her, even if it will be done with nothing less than her undies on. Powder Blue has no official release date, theatrical or otherwise, but we’ll keep you updated. For more daily video goodness, check out our Daily Diversion archive. To submit a video for us to scrutinize and then maybe post, send it via electronic mail to editors@filmschoolrejects.com.

I hate to be one of those guys who waters this one down to “the one with Jessica Biel as a stripper,” as Powder Blue might have something more to offer than just one of my favorite Jessicas in her naughty clothes, but how else was I going to get your attention?
