Remember when you used to like Cameron Diaz? I know, it’s probably been a while, but there was actually a time when she enhanced a film rather than turned it into something you dreaded. The last time she was actually appealing in a film was in the still fantastic My Best Friend’s Wedding. Which came out in 1997.
But she is awesome in this new red-band trailer for Jake Kasdan’s upcoming comedy Bad Teacher.

Jason Segal is always fun, Justin Timberlake is a harmless addition to anything (except The Social Network), and the lady from The Office says “fuck.” But the real star here is Diaz’ big dirty mouth. She’s damn funny, full of deliciously foul attitude, and actually manages to look a little bit sexy again. Kasdan debuted strong with the criminally neglected Zero Effect, but he’s been hit or miss ever since with films like Orange County and Walk Hard.
Bad Teacher opens June 24th, 2011.
