Watch This: ‘Redford Sent Us’ Trailer, A Doc About Movie Bloggers at Sundance

This year at Sundance, movie blogger turned filmmaker Scott Hutcheson, formerly of We Are Movie Geeks, put a bunch of the web’s most prominent (and up-and-coming) movie bloggers in front of the camera. Despite the fact that we insisted that we would not make for interesting documentary subjects, he and A.J. Meadows decided to chronicle the Sundance press experience nonetheless. Now the world has its first teaser trailer, for a film that will henceforth be known as Redford Sent Us.

For those wondering — yes, I was interviewed. It was brief and very early in the morning, so the likelihood of any of it being coherent, usable or even remotely interesting is slim. When I’m at Sundance, I’m there to work my ass off — I am not your monkey. That said, I’m interested to see how this all turns out. The teaser is interesting in its own right, featuring interviews with the very smart and gracious John Cooper, filmmaker Katie Aselton and our friends from Gordon and the Whale. Also, the always provocative and beautifully bearded Devin Faraci, of fame. The trailer shows promise and is more than worth a look — thus, I have embedded it below.
