Danny McBride - Cody Effects

As expected, the Rain of Madness continues as we build up to the release of Tropic Thunder on August 13th. As you may already know, Rain of Madness is the documentary behind the production of the fake movie at the center of Tropic Thunder, which is directed by Ben Stiller. The doc followed the doomed production and has already given us profiles of Damien the director (Steve Coogan), action star Tugg Speedman (Ben Stiller) and comedian Jeff Portnoy (Jack Black). And just yesterday we received another update, this time giving us a profile of special effects wizard and gun aficionado Cody Keith Underwood, played by Danny McBride. As documentarian Jan Jürgen describes, “His continued ignorance and arrogance is awesome.”

All will be explained by watching the NSFW clip below:

As you can see, this film is rich with dynamic, hilarious characters. And having seen the film, I can vouch for the fact that this film is going to kick you in the balls (or whatever you have) with awesomeness. It is a violent act of aggression in comedic form. Oh, and there is a stellar cameo from Tom Cruise. That is worth the price of admission right there.

For more on Tropic Thunder, I would suggest checking out the recently released red band trailer. For more on Cody Keith Underwood, head over to his official website and be amazed.
