daninreallife.jpgDane Cook is really trying for us. He is attempting to tone down the act and get into some movies where he may eventually become critically acclaimed. Sorry Dane, but I just don’t see this one panning out for you. His latest attempt teams him up with Steve Carrell in DAN IN REAL LIFE. Apple.com has just released the first trailer this afternoon.

DAN IN REAL LIFE is the story of a single father (Carrell) who writes a newspaper advice column while trying to raise his 3 daughters on his own. He runs into some trouble when he meets a girl (Juliette Binoche), only to find out that she is already dating his brother (Cook). The story looks to have a fair bit of heart and I have to trust that Carrell will pull it off.
