New Watchmen Featurette is Here to Make You Sad

Watchmen Header

We learned earlier this week that 20th Century Fox intends to use the copyright, which is rightfully theirs, to potentially delay the release of Zack Snyder’s Watchmen. And while I can’t argue with Fox wanting to get what they’re rightfully owed, it does make me sad for all of the militant fans out there who may be the real losers in the situation. In the featurette below, which was released on MySpace last night, director Zack Snyder introduces us to the world of Watchmen and some of the actors behind the iconic characters. We also see a minute or so of new footage, none of which is earth shattering, all of which continues to affirm what we already know — that Watchmen could very well be a special movie. Check out the featurette for yourself below.

Watchmen hits theaters (we hope) on March 6, 2009.
