Movie News After Dark: In the Tardis Library, We Find An Awesome ‘Man of Steel’ Title Sequence

The TARDIS Library

On tonight’s rousing edition of Movie News After Dark, we make stops in the TARDIS library for books, Westeros for tough women, South Florida for spring breakahs, Facebook for some nerdiness and the trailer park for a fan-made Man of Steel credits sequence that will blow your mind. The TARDIS library – This evening’s lead image comes to us from The Mary Sue, who have a few shots of Jenna-Louise Coleman (adorable) as Clara, the current companion to Matt Smith’s Doctor. She’s in the TARDIS library. For Doctor Who nerds, this is a big one.

How Game of Thrones traded easy ‘warrior princess’ empowerment for something more complex – Speaking of the land of Westeros, Alison Willmore has a great piece on IndieWire about the non-traditionally empowered women of the show. A great, great read.

Introducing the Man of Steel – Found via our friends at First Showing, this fan-made title sequence for Zack Snyder’s new Superman movie is pretty awesome.
