Warner Bros. must have some ridiculous confidence in the soon-to-be string of live-action/CGI hybrid films based on beloved toon characters. Most notably, the upcoming Yogi Bear (which looks slightly worse than awful, based on the trailers) and the previously announced Bug Bunny project. Now Vulture has a report that WB is looking to Mike Myers, man of funny accents (or master of a, singular funny accent) to voice the amorous skunk known as Pepé Le Pew. Here’s Sean O’Neal of The AV Club with the expected plot summary: “Pepé Le Pew, occasionally characterized by people who take these things too seriously as a racist caricature of a smelly French person, will once again work his date-rape-y wiles on Penelope Pussycat, with the two being the only computer animated members of a an otherwise live-action cast.”
A 90-minute fart joke combined with 3D cartoony sleaziness? Should be… le sigh. Check the video after the jump for supporting video evidence.
