Paranormal Activity

Paranormal Activity director Oren Peli announced today via a note to fans on the film’s official site that Kip Williams, director of The Door in the Floor, has signed on to take the reins of the upcoming sequel, Paranormal Activity 2.

“I don’t want to spoil the story but I promise it’ll surprise you,” is the way Peli closed his note. Understandably, he and Paramount Pictures would like to keep story details under wraps as much as possible for the sequel, as the element of surprise was of the utmost importance for the original. Chances are though — in this age of the internet and leaked information — that we’ll know more about Paranormal Activity 2 than we care to before it’s all said and done.
