Jason Momoa Conan

Regular viewers of Stargate: Atlantis would tell you that Jason Momoa is a big guy. He’s always been pretty big. But as big as he’s always been, Momoa has certainly added a few pounds to his body in order to take the title role in Marcus Nispel’s Conan. How do I know this, you ask? Just look at this first official image. The guy’s got some size.

This new image, lone as it may be, comes from Boyana Studios’ official site (via Cinema Blend). They are a company that just finished work on Conan, celebrating by posting this first official image. These come weeks after the first set photos made their way online. Back then I may or may not have called Momoa’s Conan a bit feminine. And while I’m not ready to take it back just yet, I’m moving back in the other direction. He’s big and possesses an intense gaze that might just work. But again, full judgment should be reserved for a time when we can see how he moves as Conan. Is he a large pile of bricks or is he a lean, mean Barbarian machine? Time will tell. For now, look at those pecs…
