Watchmen’s Gugino Talks Silk Spectre

If Zack Snyder’s existential rant on lounge music wasn’t enough Watchmen news for the day (and it wasn’t), MTV’s Movie Blog has a quick word with Carla Gugino, who is donning the tights for the comic adaptation.

She doesn’t reveal much that Watchmen fans don’t already know, except to say that her scenes with The Comedian (Harry Dean Morgan) were intense.

“The rape scene is pretty crazy that Jeffrey Dean Morgan and I have,” Gugino told MTV. “Not that I would say that’s the one I really want you guys to see. … The title sequence of this movie is going to be extraordinary. We spent many weeks over the time of the shoot shooting it. That’s going to be a very, very special thing that wasn’t scripted, that will be really empowering.”

If you’re a fan, there’s no surprises. If you aren’t, watch out for mild spoilers.
