Pierre Morel’s Taken was a surprise hit in 2009 and marked a new direction for Liam Neeson as a potential action star. He plays a distraught father to a kidnapped girl, and he cuts a swath of violence and carnage through Paris to find her. Morel’s follow-up, From Paris With Love, sees a different actor in the lead and the action even more over the top and absurd. This time there’s more than a daughter’s hymen at stake, this time terrorists are threatening thousands of lives, this time John Travolta is all that stands between them and us. Well, Jonathan Rhys Meyers stands there too I guess, but it’s mostly Travolta. Mostly.

Up for grabs are three (3) copies of the new John Travolta action flick, From Paris With Love, on DVD!

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment below answering the following question.

  1. What is your least favorite John Travolta film performance and why?

Had I asked for his best I’d be inundated with obvious answers like Pulp Fiction and Look Who’s Talking, so this way things are a bit more difficult. I still expect lots of folks to take the easy way out and reply with Battlefield Earth, but I’m looking forward to some more creative answers people.

That’s it! Make sure the email address associated with your comment is legit because that’s how we’ll be contacting the winners. One entry is allowed per person, and the contest is open to residents of the continental US ages 18 and over.

Here’s the official synopsis of From Paris With Love from Lionsgate:

Two-time Academy Award nominee John Travolta and three-time Golden Globe nominee Jonathan Rhys Meyers join forces in the high-octane action thriller, From Paris With Love.  Hailed as “one of the best action movies this year,” (Los Angeles Examiner) From Paris With Love arrives on DVD loaded with bonus materials including numerous featurettes highlighted by a “making-of” and audio commentary with Director Pierre Morel. Trigger-happy special agent Charlie Wax (Travolta) leads rookie James Reese (Rhys Meyers) on a high-speed shooting frenzy through the Parisian underworld during a high-stakes CIA mission to foil a terrorist attack planned on the city.  Before Reese realizes he’s bitten off more than he can chew, the duo discovers that he’s a target of the same crime ring planning the attack.  With only 48 hours to save the city, there is no turning back and only one deadly way out.  Pack your bags and get ready for a serious adrenaline-rush of adventure!”

The contest ends Friday, June 18th at noon PST. Winners will be notified by email. Good luck!
