Gird your loins, ladies, because Carrie is back. And it’s time to get excited, and “Carrie On” (get it?) with Sex and the City 2. The sequel to the Sarah Jessica Parker led mega-hit is due in theaters in May 2010, and Moviefone has our first look at SJP rocking some fancy Kanye West style sunglasses and clutching what I can only assume is a $9,000 purse.

I don’t even know where to start with this one. I wasn’t a big fan of the first film, but it wasn’t as awful an affair as I expected. The first film stayed true to the show and was, on every level, a crowd-pleaser. I wouldn’t expect the second film to be any different, as the principle creatives are still in place. That said, is it just me or does she look fake in this poster?

The poster is below for your inspection.
